Hi! I am a German student who is going on Exchange this fall semester to study at York University. In Germany, I'm doing my Master in educational sciences. I'm still looking for a furnished room in Toronto for the period of September to December. I am 25 years old, clean, open-minded and looking for a clean flat with some clean and friendly roommates. If you have any more questions, just ask 🙂 It's not that easy to find a room in Toronto living in Germany, I can really understand that you prefer to get to know someone before you live in the same flat.... But maybe it is possible to skype or to write via Facebook or WhatsApp... I really hope to hear of you, Christine

Hey fellow members, I'm a young male professional, planning to travel by August end and I have a friend (also a young male professional) traveling in early September... We both are looking for roommates if possible to share a townhouse in Toronto... Please let us know if u r looking *OR* know someone who is looking for roommates... Cheers
Hey Bunz! I'm here once again - looking for another roommate! I've been at this a couple months but I'm not settling for something I'm not happy with (there have also been a couple applied-one-day-too-late situations). It's tough out there!! That said, I'm feeling pretty close. I've seen a few places ranging from Lansdown/Dupont to Danforth/Coxwell and am still looking. September 1st (possibly the last week of August) is the dream, but I think I'd also settle for October IF I signed the lease soon. This is where you come in - I NEED MORE ROOMMATE(S)!!!! If you're also looking and like the idea of starting fresh with 2 or 3 other like-minded people, let me know! About me: I'm a teacher, 31 y/o, who's just returned to Canada after 6 years abroad. I'm quite active/athletic and quite health conscious. I am very aware of my impact on the environment and want to produce less waste - bonus if you want to join me on a waste-free month! In my down time, I like a good games night and sipping a glass of wine (or tea). I keep a fairly predictable (early) sleep schedule and am sometimes home during the day. I'm hoping to start teaching piano from home - something we'd definitely sort out to make sure it doesn't cause any problems. I like to laugh and I have a very low tolerance for gossip or a negative attitude (though I don't expect everyone's gonna be rainbows and sunshine all the time!). You: late 20s or 30s (ideally - it's just more likely we'll be like-minded). Clean, appreciates open communication in a shared living space, looking to make a space home and potentially even develop a friendship with roommates (at the very least enjoy the occasional conversation in passing). Good sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. Edit: I have a few viewings set up for Sunday afternoon so if you're free to meet Saturday (I know - you're probably reading this and it's Saturday already!) or Sunday morning, you could potentially see a couple places Sunday afternoon. If it all works out, you'd ideally send your documents (employment letter, credit report, etc.) Sunday or Monday. Of course, we'll keep options open - we don't need to sign a lease Sunday.
